Item Description
The special edition guernsey has been designed by Yamatji artist Loretta Egan. The stunning design features the Ngularl, the Wedge-Tailed Eagle surrounded by the map of WA - the home of the Eagle - where it stands proud and strong, facing east ready for anything that comes its way. The circle in the centre represents the Eagles' nest. The U-shapes around the circle represent people sitting around the home of the Eagles. The four stars represent the four premierships we have won. The Eagle tracks up the top signify the Eagles players leaving their mark wherever they play. The other circles represent other AFL clubs.
• This is an absolute must for any collectors out there to take ownership of a limited-edition First Nations Guernsey
• The team will be wearing the guernseys in Round 10, 11 and 18 matches against Melbourne, Adelaide Crows, and Brisbane Lions respectively
• Your guernsey will be match-worn should this player take the field in one or more of the games specified, otherwise it will be player-issue only (unconfirmed at the time of auction)
• Please note: All match-worn guernseys will be washed after Rounds 10 and 11. If the guernsey is not worn again in round 18, we anticipate you will receive it washed
• Anticipated despatch from August 2024, at the end of the AFL season
